Joining the game (there are different ways):

Recommended but a bit more time consuming to start is using the full chat clinet. You can read how to install mIRC here.

Once connected to the IRC.Dangerous-Minds.NET server type /join #Trivia in the console.

The [D$M] Java Chat

Once connected type /join #trivia into the input field of the chat client

The [D$M] CGI Chat. This will work through most restricted firewalls.

The CyberCoders CGI Chat.
Playing the game:

The bot states questions, you answer them
-
If the bot didn't receive the correct answer within a few seconds, it !WILL give a hint autmaticaly.

If you answer the question correctly before the bot gave a hint, you'll get 2 points (1 + Timebonus)

If you anser the question correctly after the bot gave a hint, you'll get 1 point
-
If you answer the question correctly after the bot answered it, you'll get no points added.

After 10 stated, unreplyed questions, the trivia-bot halts the game automatically.

(In this case, type !start into the channel to let it know that you want to play)

The ranklist is available by typing !top10 into the channel.

§1 Badwords are forbidden

§2 Fighting in a foul language is forbidden

§3 Cheating is forbidden

§4 Flaming is forbidden

§7 Repeating the same answer 1:1 on the same question is forbidden. (If it is wrong, it is wrong. Admit it)

§8 The D$M Administrators don't need to give a reason for KICKING anybody.

§9 The channel is an official D$M channel; you have to accept the general IRC-Rules.
Continued use of this game indicates acceptance of these conditions.
Any abuse might end up in a temporary/permanent ban.
